I found out that a Form 6 girl from my secondary school had died due to the heavy floods in Kuching. Apparently she slipped and fell during heavy rain into a big drain and a Shell worker jumped in and tried to save her BUT he died to! :( How tragic...
I'm not sure if my facts are right, I'm typing from memory.
It's in Batu Lintang, near my school and house. It's so scary that it could have been someone I know to just pass away like that. Prayers to the girl and her family. May she R.I.P.
And also to the brave Shell worker! At least he died knowing he tried... Bless his soul.
